I have always been fascinated with old textures, papers, images, handwriting... everything what evoques a long lost past, belonging to a someone whom I'll never meet with stories I'll never know.  Paper in particular has a very poetic and transformative esence. As it ages it changes colour, textour and even scent. I use original old papers every time I can, and I make them part of a story made up in my mind, or maybe born from a dream, nightmare or fantasy. That way, I create a new memory involving the materials, to me, my collage work behaves as the ultimate form of transformation of mediums, into a new life. All materials are my own, collected throught years of visiting flea markets and antique shops.
